We had a few rain showers, but a beautiful evening. We had dinner at our favorite taco place near campus before leaving town. May 3-Lorelei's 18th birthday! We got her birthday freebies, her nails done, and she celebrated with friends at Cornyval. May 5-9- Teacher Appreciation Week. I received lots of goodies, lunches, and gifts. May 6-John's 55 birthday! We celebrated with a burger on the grill by Jonas and me! May 8- Field trip to the Witte Museum with the 5th graders. They actually loved it. I bought myself a cute stuffed Gator in the gift shop to add to my collection at school. The kids named him Witte, of course. ...
Some days I feel like I've done it all. To look at me, you might say, "Now that's an ordinary mom". Unique personalities and needs, all wonderful, trying, and glorious at the same time!
