I'm tired...teacher tired, the kind of unreal tired that only May can bring. Only four days of school left this week and another school year comes to a close. This May didn't seem as chaotic as in years past, but it still kept us moving and groovin'! May brings two Boyen birthdays...Lorelei and John's, followed by Mother's Day, school events, and of course, concerts. May started with a fun Northside event which I helped a wonderful group of 5th graders, show off their knowledge of 20th century American history, with 21st century technology. The family came out to support me and even learned a little too. Lorelei turned 12 on May 3rd. I think her birthday was everything she dreamed of... Her sleepover was a Starry night theme. She got the best birthday gift from my sister...tickets to see Darci Lynn! Seemed like it was always the three of us this month...grabbing a quick bite after watching Lorelei's friends in the Steven
Somedays I feel like I've done it all. To look at me, you might say "now that's an ordinary mom". Dig a little deeper and you'll find I've led a pretty interesting life, done some pretty extraordinary things, especially once I became a mother of four wonderful, extremely different children! Unique personalities and needs, all wonderful, trying and glorious at the same time!
