I can't let today pass without wrapping up the rest of December and reflecting on the year. This year my word of the year was trust , but then I decided I needed more fun in my life. If I trust everything will be alright, I could make room for the fun . I definitely branched out this year in that area. There were outings, concerts, tons of time in Austin (which I love), a trip to Colorado, and even a grown-up girls' weekend to a Gator football game. Any time with my family is fun. This winter break and Christmas were certainly no exception to that fun. Winter break started with Savannah coming home. Seems like fun goes wherever she does. We've been to the gym, hanging out at home, shopping for Christmas, eating out, and tons of time with the puppies. Savannah found us a new puppy who needed a good home. Somedays I feel like I've done it all. To look at me, you might say "now that's an ordinary mom". Dig a little deeper and you'll find I've led a pretty interesting life, done some pretty extraordinary things, especially once I became a mother of four wonderful, extremely different children! Unique personalities and needs, all wonderful, trying and glorious at the same time!
