Recently I have been met with the challenge to entertain the idea of a big change. I have not been as willing to accept this potential change, as I wish I could. Then I discovered this quote, which is actually a poem by the French feminist and author, Anais Nin. It's called... Risk . "And then the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." I believe I am ready to blossom.
Somedays I feel like I've done it all. To look at me, you might say "now that's an ordinary mom". Dig a little deeper and you'll find I've led a pretty interesting life, done some pretty extraordinary things, especially once I became a mother of four wonderful, extremely different children! Unique personalities and needs, all wonderful, trying and glorious at the same time!
